Westerwald stoneware pottery is an unique type of salt glazed grey pottery from the Höhr-Grenzhausen and Ransbach-Baumbach area of Westerwald in central Germany. It has been produced in this region since the 1500's and it is often decorated with cobalt blue painted floral and foliate flourishes.
