Charles Samuel (Belgian, 1862-1939) With cast signature: Samuel. C. Entitled: The Norwegian Girl. Samuel was a student of the Royal Belgian Academy, won Silver and Gold Medals in Universal Expositions and his works are shown in several European museums. He also noted for sculpting the Monument of Charles de Coster in Belgium.
