Salins (Salins-les-Bains, France, 1857-20th century) Impressed mark: SALINS. Designed with two tiers of transferware pottery surfaces that hold two cruets, and display wine-colored floral borders, of stylized thistles and vine patterns. This set also features delicately and dramatically turned uprights, including an imposing handle at the center. The two, original, hand blown cruets are tall, with side handles, etched designs and ball-blown stoppers. It is a wonderfully charming and useful accessory.
